Anandaban Leprosy Hospital

Founded in 1957. The hospital has 110 beds and deals with 157 new cases of leprosy each year and in total 948 admissions. We visited on the 60th World Leprosy Day.

All food, tests and treatment are completely free for leprosy patients. You can find out more information here http://www.leprosymission.org/
Leprosy can be cured completely in most people if seen within six months of it occurring.

The physiotherapy department was dedicated by one of Paul's favourite authors, Eddie Askew.
